what do I write about in my essay if I'm average?

title is my question
my GPA is average, I only took the basic classes, my test scores are average, no volunteer work, no extracurriculars, no clubs, no recommendations, no internships, etc. literally nothing to my name except an average transcript. i just went and did what i needed to do.
the only thing I think may be worth mentioning here is how I burnt out between sophomore-senior year and had to take a 5th year where I finished all of those classes. now i've graduated so i need help with this, i really don't know where to start. i'm also first gen.

i've seen essays where people talk about their past, but i would probably struggle with that. maybe struggle is good. idk. it would be a trauma dumping session, which i don't really want to do, however I wouldn't be against talking about some things. then some talk about passion projects, but i don't have any. some talk about a hobby and connect it to the career they want to pursue, which is a good idea, except i don't really have any hobbies. i just exist. i just go with the flow. i don't know what to do. and of course, talking about the future - about how i may change in college, which could be good to include but i don't know how i would write a whole essay about that because I honestly.. don't really care... my whole life has basically been other people deciding things for me. having to decide this by myself is a bit scary
if it helps at all, i want to help people but i don't have a specific career that i'm set on. i've thought about these: psychology, surgery technician, care aid, or nursing assistant. so I guess if anyone has advice about the whole application in general, please share. and if anyone was thinking about those careers or something that may be similar, also share things that someone interested in those jobs may want to know. also potential schools or anything.. again I haven't really thought about this, it's a weird time in my life.
