Am I the only one who feels like the newer Scream movies are trying to juggle too many characters?

I don’t think the new writers are bad, but it kinda feels like the bigger cast makes it harder to really develop anyone. Like back when Kevin Williamson was writing, the characters and the mystery both felt tighter. but he was a pro at that and maybe these new ppl aren’t.

Do you think it’s a writing issue, or just too many people to focus on? Would a smaller cast make it better? or would that defeat the purpose of a whodunit?

I notice Black people/Africans are all fighting to get the same roles that Hollywood offers and the same awards that Hollywood offers. Why not work together & make own studio instead of fighting for same roles?

I notice Black people/Africans are all fighting to get the same roles that Hollywood offers & usually the roles are stereotypes. Why not work together & make own studio instead of fighting for same roles?

(I know Tyler Perry has a studio, but ppl claim, he makes movies with the same exact stereotypes that Hollywood pushes)

i remember Chadwick boseman said, he could have been famous sooner but the only roles they were offering in Hollywood was… thug #1

a South African actor said he flew to Hollywood and he had to fight to get a role of background gang member.

the wayans brothers said they wanted to make a study , that didn’t focus on struggle but had Black American movies, but their movie studio was block from being built .

many actors say they get overlooked for awards.

Jamaicans are annoyed that British ppl play them.

Black Americans are annoyed that British ppl play them.

Nigerians are annoyed that South Africans play west Africans

^^

my question is instead of playing the Hollywood game, why not unite and make a movie together.

pictured above is the tv series classified , which is one of the first movies with Africans + diaspora united away from USA to make a movie together where Black Americans were played by Black Americans, South Africans were played by South Africans, Kenyans were played by Kenyans, etc etc

do you think if more movies and shows did this, would be better as you wouldn’t have to play the roles that hollywood believes is for Black ppl
