I had my trigger shot 11 days ago and IUI 10 days ago. This is my first FRER test this cycle. Anyone have ovidrel 250 residual last this long and look similar?

I am doing an IUI this month. My LH is starting to rise today and borderline surging in my 8:00 AM blood test (CD14) but my follicle is only 16mm. It needs to be at least 18mm according to the clinic for the trigger shot. FSH is low as expected and estrogen also went up, but within expected range. Progesterone is within pre-ovulation range as well.
Has anyone had success with smaller follicle? If LH surges now, then the follicle will likely release the egg without being ready right?
I feel like my previous unmonitored letrozole cycles failed because an immature egg was released and scared that will happen again. The doctor said LH surges like this can happen in PCOS.
