Gypsum plaster on Wimpey No Fines walls

Can anyone here offer guidance on the suitability of gypsum plaster on No Fines houses? I do general handyman work and some smaller plastering jobs, I have a returning customer who says they have blown plaster on an external wall of their Wimpey No Fines house (non-standard poured concrete construction without a cavity).

They want a quote to repair the wall but I'm not too familiar with this style of construction and wasn't sure if I could work with Bonding and Multifinish or would need to work with back coat plaster and lime? I've only dealt with gypsum products before so would likely turn the job away if it meant working with unfamiliar gear.

I'm going to inspect anyway and can assess if it was previously done in a gypsum product.

I've bought an older HP Pavilion gaming tower with a 320w supply which annoyingly lacks a 6-pin connector! Research suggested it would be a good fit for a 1650 Super for light gaming but no power means no party! 😔

HP OEM 12.1v supplies are discontinued but ebay is full of third-party options at 400W and 500W, both of which come with 6+2 connections which will power my GPU.

Are these third-party discontinued parts normally okay on ebay? Sourcing the real deal seems almost impossible.

The previous owner of our property had clearly once had a tumble dryer extracting via a slotted aluminium vent - gathering considerable lint. The duct through the cavity wall was also incomplete so a lot of that warm, moist air must have been pumped directly into the void!

I've taken off the old vent, and fitted a telescopic duct through the wall, but not 100% sure how I should be making good the exterior wall where the much larger slotted vent once was? It'll need to be flush and strong enough for wall plugs for the new cowl.

Would this need a few a cut pieces of brick and mortar to close the gap or is there something suitable to patch this up without adding new brick?
