Becoming SAG-E before or after signing with an agent?

I’m currently non-union, and I have no SAG credits or vouchers to my name. About a month ago I signed with a reputable agency, but now I’m wondering whether or not I should have tried to rack up background actor gigs to become SAG-E first. So now I’m wondering- how many of you out there got SAG-E before getting an agent, and how many after?

Hey, newer fan here, so forgive my ignorance. Caught the show in Milwaukee last week and saw they're just as good as I had hoped they'd be. In fact, they were such an obvious cut above the other three bands on the tour my friend and I walked out of there wondering "how the hell are they second billing?" Looking at the amount of people who were headed out after their set was over, it's obvious we weren't the only folks who were there mainly to see them. I'm probably just out here whining because nine songs just isn't enough, but I'm ready to see a full concert from these bastards.

My 9yo tasted blood in her mouth today. We thought it might just be from a wobbly tooth; she lost the one in front of it a couple of weeks ago. But just now she said “I think it’s broken.” Took a look and this is what it looks like. Is this just the exposed edge of a wobbly tooth or reason to see a dentist? She said it doesn’t hurt. Thanks!
