1:1200 age of sail miniatures

So I'm doing some research on this topic for a while but I stuck with my google-fu.

I am looking for 1:1200 (or 1:1250) scale ship miniatures, for the age of sail slashNapoleonic era. I aim to play generic rulesets like Fighting Sail and Don't give up the ship. I would prefer an EU based vendor (bacause of shipping prices, supply chain and would support local businesses) if any. I found lots of 404 pages and outdated websites out there in this topic. I also learned recently that 1:1200 is/was more popular in US and UK as it's based on inches and I should seek 1:1250 for european references, but I did not fond much, mostly ww1 and ww2 related models.

At the beginning I was super enthusiastic but it seems this scale and historical era doesn't have such huge fun base as I expected? Please prove I'm wrong!

What I have so far:

- GHQ seems to be the biggest player in case of metal miniatures and would pretty much cover my needs. I might eat the pill of shipping fee and taxes.

- Skytrex seems to be good with plastic miniatures but I never get an answer on my question about the actual scaling.

- The league of Augsburg is the closest to my needs - but the models cover other historical eras.

- Oak and Iron minis might be good, I just need to tweak the rules to 1:600 scale ships

- I saw that one of the best manufacturer Langton Miniatures closed his websop in 2025...

- Last but not least I am considering building my own fleet from green stuff and wires.

What did I miss? Do you have any further recommendations?
