Sorry, but I've been reading this sub this morning and a comment made my blood boil.
No, devs are not lazy. The devs on your average AAA studio are proabably the most passionate, talented and hard working people out there.
They work in a pretty horrible industry with below average pay for the same role in different industries. Layoffs were pretty much common practice even before the 2020s. Studios closes for no good reasons, even after successful releases. Imagine now how the siuation must be for them now.
Now this DLC might not be interesting to many, and it's totally fine! If you don't wanna buy it, it's ok. BUT for the love of god, please don't go out of your way to blame the devs for this. They probably work on a fairly small budget, so there's only so much you can do with it.
This extends even for every other aspect of the game. Old bugs, random crashes, missing features, heck even wonky balance patches aren't the result of incompetence or laziness. Just limited budget and limited time that they can work on things.
And please, go out there and read anything Jason Schreier has wrote. He really explains well the situation the game industry is in.
