i ate a croissant off the street
what’s even more embarrassing is that i think someone saw me. i was walking home today and there were a few boxes of food dropped in the middle of the road. half of it was still inside the boxes, nothing looked smashed or dirty. it was strange and in a way felt like a set up. i could have easily walked by, but i didn’t. i was having a bad day. so i took a chocolate croissant. i even pretended to offer it to a squirrel then scarfed it down when i was far enough away. part of me wants to get food poisoning...as if it would change anything
