So first time making THIS and omg so not disappointed!! I used Monin Organic Coconut syrup and Frontier (no alcohol) vanilla extract on both the cake and in the lactose free cream cheese icing.
I never thought I'd see the day I'd make cake.
I decided to try The Loopy Whisk recipe and it was my first time making it. Now mind you I am on a special lifestyle other than GF.
Long story short I'm on an AIP modified diet so butter is replaced with organic ghee and no chemically processed anything so for sugar I use Organic Cane Sugar, dairy free milk, etc
Came out great!! The lemon zest is the best part of the recipe!!
Soo moist that even surprised me.
