Solo founder, based outside the US, no US LLC. Built a small B2B SaaS in the lead gen space - it's live, just can't take money yet.
Applied to Lemon Squeezy, rejected. Reapplied, rejected again. Then tried Polar - also rejected.
I'd prefer a merchant of record so I don't have to figure out US sales tax myself. But clearly I'm missing something about getting approved as a non-US solo founder in lead gen.
Three questions for you:
- If you launched from outside the US, who actually approved you? Paddle? FastSpring? Someone else?
- Anything specific that helped - on your site, in the application, business structure?
- Anyone here gotten a lead-gen product approved at all?
War stories welcome.
