Alright, I am finally curious about trying lip stains!

What are our fav lip stain brands & products? I’d love to start with drugstore options if possible. I’ve heard good things about the NYX IV ones but not sure where to start.

33F with cool toned skin, very dark brown hair, warm blue eyes, dry skin and dry lips and I wear the following complexion shades:
- Ilia skin serum in 0.5 Skye
- Ilia complexion stick in 1N
- Merit Ceramic
- Maybelline Superstay skin tint in 102
- L’Oréal tinted serum in 0.5-2 Very Light

*I also wear cool toned blushes!

Also, do people put gloss on top of a stain for hydration or is that a no go? lol
