Today was Miko's day 💚💔
His liver cancer progressed very rapidly over this week and we decided the best for him was to schedule a euthanasia appointment. When I woke up this morning, I felt almost relieved that he would be in peace today. It only took a couple minutes for him and it was so peaceful. He was ready to go but was hanging on for us. The vet said the second dose usually takes 4 minutes but it only took 1 for him. The wife and I are doing the best we can, and his sister, Thea is starting to grieve along with us after getting back. Thank you all for your kind words during this time, I'll post about Thea here when we go on her first solo trip in almost 7 years. Thanks again, his some pictures of him throughout his short, yet adored life💚
If anyone is wondering, we are getting him cremated and the vet we go to did an amazing job throughout this whole process.
