Hiya everyone,
so I'm currently playing my first crusade with two friends and as such there are of course a few things i noticed. We started off with the armageddon campaign and 1000 points and 5RP, with the agreement to go up 500points per phase, thus ending with 2500points in phase 4, which i still think is a pretty good system. One of the issues, at least for me personally, maybe not so much for others, is the fact that, if not for the victor bonus of certain missions or the few RP generating abilities some of the armies have, we basically have to spend 3/4 of our RP per phase, just to increase our supply limit, which leaves very limited space to do anything else. Say for example with my army, death guard, i'm currently running into the issue, that if i want to finish my second plague before the campaign ends, i pretty much need to spend 2RP on "careful cultivation" whenever i can, which is already not going to be very often, but if i do that, then i also won't be able to use any other requisitions, like changing unit sizes, brewing my batches for my deadly pathogen or stuff like that. Meanwhile our tyranid player has to basically spend all his RP, just to increase his supply limit, since it costs 2 for him and he won't get another planet devoured before the last battle or two. As such, i naturally wonder how you guys deal with RP? Do you just make supply limit increase partially a passive thing or like increase the amount of RP gained from certain things or do you just play with rules as written? Or is there even some rule i maybe didn't see that changes the entire system?
Thank you in advance :)
