Using a Dimarzio Tone Zone for the bridge pickup and Amplitube 5 as a plugin in FL Studio where I adjust EQ a bit.
Hello!
I'm about to move away from home and have started selling most of my guitars (I know :c) so they won't take up much space in my new apartment. With the money I'll get from selling them I'll have around $2000-2200. With this money I plan on buying a Gibson so that my sales feel justified.
The guitar I'm keeping is a knock off flying V that I'll be playing mostly metal on.
Aside from metal I also enjoy playing blues, classic dad rock while trying out new genres.
The two contenders I feel might be worth buying are either a Les Paul Studio Session or an ES-335 (most likely second-hand).
I like the versatility and style in the Studio Session, but I find the 335 so gorgeous and classic. It's so hard to choose.
Which one should I pick?
