It’s the plastic part that holds the spring closed. Without it the bulb just kind of sits there held in place by the rubber shroud thing.

I have a 2008 with 197000 miles, and just wanted to check if anyone else has had this issue with there rims. I can get replacements at $63 each plus labor.
