As Gold, would EWR->LAX MUA Polaris upgrade typically go through?
Just wondering if this upgrade to Polaris would typically go through (from standard economy)? There's a $250 service fee plus 20,000 miles required. I know this route is busy, as Gold, should I expect that this would likely clear on one of the dreamliner flights on a Tuesday mid-day?
I know odds are better with Premium Econ, but the company won't let me buy Premium Economy since it's under 6 hours. Ironically, if I fly out of JFK, they WILL let me buy it on Delta or AA since JFK->LAX is over 6 hours.
