Lightburn and rotary marking

Hi all. I’m trying to teach my self lightburn and more specificly the rotary tool. I’m kinda getting somewhere but my logo has not come out as expected it approximately 20x10mm but has been condensed into to a 2mm strip. what the hell have I done wrong?

hi all, just bought a alpha-1ai ive taken off all of the transport locks and all axis's move with the exception of the v. my question is, is there only one lock on the v or is there another one hiding? i have unbolted the lead screw and the motor and screw turns so its a mechanical lock up somewhere.

cheers

Hi all

im sure this has been asked a million times but hey whats one more, im needing to upgrade my laser at work and im just trying to narrow down whats best for my situation. currently i have a fibre laser but im struggling to get a white marking on black anodized ally parts. would i be better off using a co2 laser or is the fibre the best? i dont need to physically remove the annodising if that a pre requisite.

cheers
