Hey I’m thinking of replacing the temporary extension cord with something like this: https://a.co/d/097mHuaV

It’s stiff, I can push it up on top the floor molding.

Would this setup work ?

Note: the plug in the bathroom is GFCI. So if water were to overspill, will the unit trip as the plug itself is GFCI but not the extension cord ?
