Visited Canada this weekend, App said I was covered but I never had any service.

I live in Washington and visited Vancouver Canada over the weekend. The Google Fi app said I was covered in Canada but I never had any service, only when I connected to wifi. I restarted my phone and turned on and off airplane mode but I never seemed to connect to any kind of network. I wasn't in a remote area and the phone seemed to know I was in Canada. Is there something I missed? Phone is a Pixel 10. Thanks!

I just got this 1999 Ford Ranger, manual, 4x4, 3.0L, 144k miles on the dash. I'm not sure of the truck's previous maintenance and just took a look at the brakes. The truck brakes fine and quiet.

One concern is that I have to push the parking brake pedal all the way to the floor for it to fully hold the truck when parked. Not sure if the drum brakes need adjusting or they need to be replaced.

The inside surface of the drum was fairly smooth. I did feel some tiny grooves on the front rotor, I'm not sure how much is normal though.

I can already see that the front suspension needs some work and that the axle seals in the rear need to be replaced.

Thanks for your input!

New Ranger owner wanting to learn to work on my truck. I wanted to jack up the front end to take the front tires off. Watched a video on YouTube on where to use the jack and jack stands. It feels like I need to jack up the front end quite a bit to be able to put my jack stands under the torsion bar brackets though. Even with the stands at their lowest level.

There was a slight shift before I took these pictures and decided to put it back down. My driveway is a bit sloped but I had both back tires choked. Was that just the jack shifting over my bumpy driveway? Is there a better place to put my jack stands so I don't have to raise it as much?

Thanks for your help.
