I'm having issues finding reliable answers to this, so I figured I'd ask here.
I play a mix of racing games: some actual simracing like iRacing, but I also really like to chill in more arcade-like games such as Forza, Truck/Bus/Taxi driver, Snow/Mudrunner etc.
I'm only interested in PC compatibility.
I've started out with a simple Fanatec CSL DD (8nm, QR1) some years ago, and I'd like to upgrade. I also feel like leaving Fanatec behind, since I don't like their closed ecosystem when it comes to wheels ( I know they've just released a 'solution' for this ).
However, I can't escape the idea that when it comes to compatibility with the more arcade-like games, a big name like Fanatec is much better supported than the more niche and true sim focussed names such as Simucube, Asetek or even Simagic.
Am I correct in this assumption?
tl;dr: What is the arcade-like games (Forza, Truck/Bus/Taxi driver, Snow/Mudrunner etc) compatibility for brands such as Simucube, Asetek, Simagic like, compared to Fanatec?
