I've read that training is from 4-6 weeks.

  1. I saw on other posts, that the first week is at home with an ipad. Is it similar for Material Handler? How does that work? Do we show up on the first day (for example Monday) to pick up an ipad and the rest of the week at home? If we’re at home, is it at your own pace or do you need to be online at a specific time?

  2. During training and at the airport, what hours does one expect? For example, 6 am to 2 pm? Monday through Friday? Does it vary?

  3. Can you complete training in 3 weeks instead of the 4-6? Or does it need to follow a group/class? Similarly, why do they estimate 4-6 weeks? Do certain people complete training ahead of others in the same class?

  4. Can anyone give a breakdown of training? Is it all inside a class learning and taking tests? Or are there some weeks more hands of training?

  5. I know it is highly not recommended, but has anyone had success with missing two days during training?

  6. I saw someone mentioned that they like working on the ramp and at the same time complete their remote work during downtime. Do material handlers get downtime like that as well

  7. Are there breaks once working as a material handler? Can people nap during them? I know ideally one shouldn’t sleep while on the clock, but a 20-minute nap can go a long way especially during a night shift.

I appreciate any insight. I'm prepared to work as instructed. I am just curious how things are going to go.
