I'm flying from BHX on EK040 to DBX soon, with a 2 hour connection to then take the EK384 to BKK.

My EK040 is scheduled to land at 00.45, with EK384 taking off at 02.50 - so just about perfect.

I've noticed though that all EK040 currently are scheduled to land at DBX at 01.30, which is 45 minutes later than mine.

So, the question is why? I presume this is because of re-routing currently because of the conflict? And they think it will all be sorted by the end of the month and they can fly a shorter route???

At what stage would they change my flight to a later scheduled landing? I know if it lands at 01.30, there is still 1hr 20mins for my next flight which is doable but a bit more stressful, but if I do miss the next flight, whats the chance the put me on the one an hour later? After that, Id have to wait until about 10.00am

I fly out from BHX to DUB on the 31st May - when i visit the manage booking page on my mobile its says 'your flight has been disrupted. To rebook your flight please contact us'.

On the main website on a pc in the same 'Manage Booking' page - its doesn't say that at all and will let me book and pay for seat choice etc.

No email has been received apart from booking confirmation.

Is my flight cancelled or not? I've tried to call them but the wait nearly killed me.........
