Because I forgot to take the stick-on protective plastic film thingy off the lens!

That was a wasted hour of dinking around... Always double check your installs 😆

Hey all!

So I have this cheapy 27L "Mardingtop" brand daypack from amazon. I must have tested 15 other bags before settling on this one. Usage is day hikes, biking, canoeing, general non-overnight outdoorsy crap. I also carry it around town and theme parks and stuff when we're on family trips (minus the knives and other hunting junk that's usually in there).

It checked all the boxes I was after: tall and shallow, lots of separate zippered compartments, deep outer side pockets for water bottles, organization slots for pens and stuff, clam shell opening with a couple pockets and some zippered compartments inside, roomy enough for some clothing layers and my coffee making kit, ventilated back panel. I also added a cellphone pouch to the strap and a little pouch on the side that holds my ham radio ht.

I really dig everything about it except for the stupid tactical/military cosplay styling!

Has anybody come across a bag of similar size with similar features that won't make me look like a Gravy Seal? Price isn't an issue, but the less expensive the better. Was looking at the Grayl Transport series in blue, but those bags don't have the organizer slots so they're out.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

edit to add: I ordered up an Eberlestock Little Trick. But I'm still open to other suggestions, can send that one back if I don't like it (it weighs almost 4lbs!).

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I absolutely love Stanley's camping cookware. I have the Even Heat Pro Camp Cookset and the French Press in our car camping kit, along with an additional sauce pan. And a couple of the two cup cooksets in our backpacking kits.

I wanted to order the square frying pan set to add to our car kit, but everything is sold out on their website.

Anyone have any insight? Thanks much

edit to add: the "Camp Cookware" section of their website is now mostly just insulated mugs and tumblers.
