WTT or Sell A Top Gun Maverick & Goose Helmet Set

I bought an extra Top Gun: Maverick & Goose Helmet Set solely to trade for the JAWS shark bucket and the JAWS tin bucket. I prefer the "Help Shark" bucket. If I can't find a trade, I'd be willing to sell them. I'd need to sell them for enough to cover the costs of the JAWS combo. No more, no less. If anyone is interested in trading, lmk!

Also, to the person who was looking for a Maverick for Father's Day, I called a theater that I will be driving by tomorrow morning. They said they'd hold one for me. If they actually do, I'll grab it and send it to you. No upcharge, just pay me what I paid for it and the shipping. I'll let you know if I get it tomorrow!

Follow up to this mornings analysis paralysis post.

First, thank you all so much for the input; it helped a lot. I've narrowed it down to two options.

Option A - M5, 1tb, standard glass, wifi+celluar, refurbished for 1345.85 ( shipping and tax included )

Option B - M4, 1tb, standard glass, wifi+celluar, refurbished for 1053.49 ( shipping and tax included )

Why 1 TB? For the maximum RAM and more cores, as I want to keep what I buy for a minimum of 6 years, and want to still have it work well with Apple AI and my Apple ecosystem at home.

So my final questions before I pull the trigger:

Is the extra $290 worth it for the processor difference?

Is it worth the extra cost on either to go from 512gb to 1tb for the boost in processor and ram for performance/long-term use? I ask because obviously the price goes down on the M4 by about $240 on the M4 and $220 on the M5. I don't mind the extra cost if the gains are worth it but if I can save some money thats great to!

Thank you all for helping me.

IPad Pro Analysis Paralysis

TL;DR: I’m trying to pick between 11-inch vs 13-inch, M4 vs M5, and standard glass vs nano-texture. I mostly use devices on the couch near a window, for browsing, reading, movies, YouTube, and occasional travel. Also, future-proofing for Apple AI. and homekit. I already have a MacBook Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. I’m mainly wondering how much nano-texture affects movie quality, and whether the standard iPad glass reflects like an iPhone/MacBook, just on a larger screen. Also, I'm looking at refurbished units not new.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m deep in iPad Pro analysis paralysis and could use some real-world input from people who have actually used these.

I keep going back and forth between the 11-inch vs 13-inch, M4 vs M5, 1 TB, and especially standard glass vs nano-texture glass.

Most of my use would be pretty normal stuff: browsing, reading, watching movies/YouTube, couch use, and taking it with me when I travel. I don’t fly a ton, but I usually do one long flight a year, maybe two. I might use it outside occasionally to read or browse, but that wouldn’t be the main use. Also future-proofing for Apple AI.

At home, I usually sit on a couch that’s right next to a window, so glare is definitely something I’m thinking about.

I already have a MacBook Pro and an iPhone 16 Pro Max, so I’m not really looking for the iPad to fully replace my laptop. I’m more looking for something that’s great for media, reading, browsing, travel, and some light productivity.

The screen is what I’m hung up on the most.

For anyone who has used both the standard glass and nano-texture glass, how different do movies actually look? Does the nano-texture make the OLED screen look noticeably less sharp or less vibrant? Or is that something you only really notice if you compare them side by side?

Also, how does the standard iPad Pro glass compare to an iPhone or MacBook Pro when it comes to reflections? Is it basically similar, just more noticeable because the screen is bigger?

Right now I’m kind of looking at it like this:

The 11-inch seems easier to hold, better for travel, and more tablet-like.

The 13-inch seems better for movies, browsing, split screen, and couch use, but maybe a little awkward as a handheld tablet.

The standard glass seems like it would give the best picture quality for movies.

The nano-texture glass seems better for glare, windows, flights, and occasional outdoor use, but I’m worried I’d miss that glossy OLED look.

For people who have owned or used these, what would you pick? Would you prioritize the bigger screen, the newer chip, or the nano-texture glass?
