I feel like I’m going crazy.
When I rub my lips together, I feel a sandy, gritty, dry, rough sensation on the Cupid bow area of my upper lip. But visually in pictures and upon looking in the mirror, there’s not really bumps. Just redness and some dry looking skin in the area.
I’ve had this sensation for over 30 hours now, noticed it yesterday and these pics are from this morning. It’s sometimes feels warm in the area. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s just annoying feeling when I spread my lips or when I lick it, just feels like a “rough” patch.
I’ve had cold sores twice before, but it’s always presented in blistering and shows up in the same spot lower left lip. And this hasn’t progressed visually since first feeling the sensation yesterday.
Is it contagious? Should I go see a Dr? Plz help :(
