Customers who tip bait should be banned

Once you’re tip baited, how long does it take for Instacart to add the $10 tip protection?

Got tip baited tonight on a double after hauling dishwasher pods, Dawn dish soap, two packs of double-roll paper towels, and three 6-roll packs of toilet paper. Checked the app tonight and the tip was suddenly $0. These people are disgusting.

This is the second time it’s happened to me in a few months and it still pisses me off every time. The guy met me outside and thanked me to my face. He even tried taking the bags from me, but I told him I needed to take a picture first.

The account was under a female name, so it was probably his wife who removed the tip even after I thanked her in chat at the end, which I always do for every customer. Nice house too, which is typical.

These lazy assholes need to get off the couch and drive to the store themselves. Gas is too expensive though, so I guess exploiting Instacart shoppers is easier.
