I wasn’t in app and I still snagged it. Got back to Costco and had to cancel a 85 because it had 80 items. Hope everyone’s having a great day
I'll give you three guesses why! 😂🙃 I told them it was late because their order was part of a triple. Later, when I saw that there was no tip, I sent a message that explained their order -might- have been waiting on the app for a long time before I picked it up. I was trying to be nice and protect my ratings. Should I have told them it was late because they didn't tip?
Is it just me or after the app crash orders have been either terrible or barely any popping up?! Like do we have to be diamond to get all the orders coming in?!
There has to be orders coming in & im just assuming diamond cart is getting all them ... usually Friday's are busy and I'm confused what's going on🙃. (LA / OC

When I’m dropping off orders I say “have a good day” or something along those lines every single time. I would say 60%+ of people don’t reply AT ALL, no “you too” or thank you or anything. Like yo I’m 3 feet from you and just brought all this stuff to you, can you at least say something?? I more so just don’t understand the psychology of people that just don’t reply at all, literally 0 words. (No I’m not expecting them to kiss my feet but like damn)

Had an ok Friday. I've never gotten 2 comments on the same day though. Too bad they don't help you get more batches.

Had a 32 dollar tip for like 25 items and only like 5 miles there to drop off and back home whole thing took 30 minutes made my day end on a high note
I’ve had a couple regulars recently ask if I would do their orders regularly and my only concern is how to do payment because there’s no way I’m buying everything and invoicing. One is Costco orders and the other Kroger. Any suggestions? 😎

The last 3 orders today. I’m in the app the entire time yet a notification pops but nothing shows on my screen.
Customer submitted a complaint for damaged items, the eggs were cracked. Which yes I understand, but the eggs were in a sealed box and there was no way to verify the damage. They were not leaking out of the box. Now my shopper quality takes the hit for something out of my control.
Now first off, yes, I should’ve caught the relatively low combined tip before accepting. It’s been a slow Friday so I took a larger Costco batch that I wouldn’t normally do, because it was over $30 and every other offer today was either crap or long distance.
This was $500+ of goods, and looking at the tips, can you guess which one went to the $342 order? Yep, you already know. Honestly would’ve been less insulting if they didn’t tip at all.
They have enough money to buy a $37 eye round roast, but apparently not enough for a tip to cram your multiple boxes of crap in my trunk. Oh, and at least 5-6 of those items were added during the shop too.
And to add insult to injury, my local Costco is apparently now forcing “small items” on Instacart orders to be unloaded onto the belt, then reorganized and packed again. Finding new ways to make previously-simple batches more time-consuming, and less worth the aggravation that comes with dealing with Costco crowds and layout changes.
So lesson learned. No matter how much they try to make you settle for crap, don’t. Know your worth, don’t compromise.
