Haircuts that make 2A hair more wavy
First 5 pics are my hair on different days, the rest are inspo pics. I have fine, swavy 2A hair. It’s fluffy, tangles easily, and I get a lot of frizz/flyaways. I have face framing pieces but not much layering otherwise. My waves fall out pretty quickly, but the front of my hair is usually wavier than the back and the waves there will keep their shape longer. A lot of the time parts of my hair are straight and parts of it are wavy, but it’s never the same parts and I can’t replicate a good hair day.
I was hoping that a shag/butterfly/layered cut would help my hair be wavier. However, I also need a low maintenance haircut. My scalp gets greasy very quickly and I have to wash daily or every other day, so I don’t want to spend a ton of time styling.
Has anyone else with a similar hair type gotten a haircut with layers, like the inspo pics? How’d it work out for you? Did it make your hair wavier? What did you ask your hairdresser for? Pics are appreciated!! :)
