Definitely a cold sore.
I was in denial about it chalking it up to being a "margarita burn." I was at a party drinking Tajín rimmed drinks and got some stuck on the side of my lip and right after went into the sun. As I've gotten older I've noticed citrus based candies/fruits make my tongue tingle. Well ... few days later I also notice little white spots on my gums in the same area the sore appeared.. there's no denying it's a cold sore, right ?
