Armed murderer manhunt at Industrial and Terry-O
Just walked out of an appointment to cops walking around with long rifles and the area shut down. They've got a chopper ahead too. Anyone know if its a warrant or active murder scene?

At this point in the season we're not getting enough hits. Throughout the season Ive had to teach my kids trajectory from the slope of our coach's pitch. I study his first couple pitches for the day and tell my kids how far back to stand in the box. Ive got two kids and we start on the back line of the box. This gets my kids to hit just about every time. They both watch the first pitch and step up accordingly to match the slope. The pitching leaves the 4 footer kids swinging at flies somewhere around 4.5 to 5ft up. Im 6'3 and the pitches would be too high for me.
I see other coaches move back and forth on the mound to match strike zones but ours throws the same lofty pitch consistently. At least 11 kids are swinging over their heads every time. Theyre blaming the team getting them to correct swings but there's no correction when you want a hit but dont get anything but a junk pitch.
I see two options: move all kids to the back of the box or move the coach back on the mound. His backspin cripples the hit but F it, we just need hits. We've been run ruled the past 3 games. Its a small league so its become clear the other teams have sharpened their hitting abilities
Am I crossing a line asking for consideration of the two options? I have video to support the ideas.
We've got a Barred Rock thats been broody at least a month. Theres no chance the eggs are fertile as our Rooster died around that time. She's always been a loner. Im afraid the other girls might peck or attack the chicks. Is this a reasonable concern? The chicks are also a week old so Im already taking a chance but I really need to get her off the nest for health reasons.
