Whats this noise?
It works, its 100 degrees outside and during the heat of the day its making this screeching sound off and on. I think its coming from the bottom part not the fan on top. A friend recommended hosing it down, its stopped for a bit but started up again. Its not during turning off or on. AC unit is 7 years old and we use it almost year round here but I keep the house in the high 70s
