Hey guys,

I’m an incoming freshman at UNC Chapel Hill. I’m wondering what kind of opportunities I could get in the summer after my freshman year.

I would imagine:

1. i need to look for small firms
2. i should go regional, close to UNC (maybe raleigh or charlotte?)
3. and that these roles don’t have an actual job posting?

So my path is emailling people at local small firms to see it they would take me?

Also, do you guys know of any particular industries that are more realistic for my situation? And what does the timeline would look like, when should I send those emails?

Hey guys, i just committed to UNC!!! Im an intl, wanting to break into finance, intending to apply to KFSB and rushing into a business frat.

Do you guys have any tips on housing, dining, clubs or communities to get involved early? I have already heard about grainville as a good housing option, and the business frats.

Any other things you guys learned with time or wish you did early/knew from the start would be super helpful.
