Mended my kurti

Pic 1: tear, supplies (don't be a dodo like me and choose a thread that's the same as the major colour on the fabric. I switched to orange because I couldn't find my white)

Pic 2: Mended! The white-ish stain is fabric glue to affix the ends I swear 😭

Tried my hand at invisible mending for the first time; usually I prefer visible mending because I think it adds a unique touch and I like the tactility.

This kurti (think a long frock) was too fine and pretty, so I found some matching fabric from an inner seam and got to work.

The part I struggled with most was the size of the patch because I could not find anything large enough to cover the tear, which is why the design sits a little crooked.

I used this tutorial to start: https://youtu.be/QIj90yA9WWc?si=UjhhKsoQ\_FbTpI2Y.
