Hi guys, I have a cultural ball coming up where you are meant to wear your formal cultural attire or bright colours. I am white so I don’t have any formal cultural attire and am wearing a dress that comes with a shawl/scarf. Considering there will be Indian women wearing things like dupattas at the event, would it be weird if I wore the scarf as a shawl draped over the front of my body/chest (something that I feel is very much inspired by Indian fashion)??? Thank you!
