Daily from yesterday. I'm front running the breakout and ready to bail in a hurry if it doesn't work.
1 minute chart for the trade. I felt it tightened enough this morning that I would give it a try.
It may be hard to believe, here's the slip. I thought I was cutting it kinda close. lol But it worked.
No signs of anything to worry about at this time.
ES It's on the chart, it's that simple. At the end of the chart don't forget a possible third choice - sideways.
NQ looks a little different. It has a little down turn at the end. It doesn't mean anything at this time. It could drop down a fair amount more and still put in a higher low.
EDIT: Tomorrow is OPEX. Usually nothing happens. Once in awhile it marks a big change in the market.
Qs generally lead the market. When the Qs don't get quite as high as SPY on the bounce that's something to watch for the next day or 2.
It's the most recent gap from today. Not the one from 5/8. I just pointed out that gap was filled as well.
SPY filled the gap.
The Qs didn't. Yet. Watch tomorrow.

Asking about the pivot for the steering, not the linkage. It needs some grease doesn't it? The owner s manual doesn't show anything. There is no visible grease fittings. I could start tearing stuff apart but shouldn't have to do that to grease it. Does anybody know about that?

I'm going to try SPY 739.63 exactly. The 100 is around 760. It worked last year top around 700.
It worked in 2024 as well. You can see a little correction at 61 then the top at 100.
Breakout held today. Until tomorrow...
There's my trade. Same thing I have been doing for some time with other stocks. I thought for sure I was going to miss it, by a few pennies.
Last time it went up quickly it kinda crashed after but eventually got going. This time it went up quickly then went into sideways consolidation - flag. Looks much better.

There are all kinds of energy stocks that have regained momentum and look the same as CHRD. Not much to it, it either breaks out or it doesn't.

This is all I use for chart. It's lower volume and market cap so I have to wait to see how it opens to decide what to do with it. It probably won't open up 4%. Or maybe it will. No pressing panic buttons until it fits with some kind of intelligent plan on my terms. Or let it go and find something else. Or take the day off. All good choices.

There's a volume gap with very low volume.
The AVWAP from the high is a type of resistance level. It got over it today. It's a couple points away from a new high. I don't think that level will be significant. But we'll find out.

That kind of move can't stay sustained. If it kept going like that it would be 2000% per year or some crazy thing. If you look back on the chart you can see there are all kinds of corrections big and small. I don't know how far down it will go. I have no way to monitor it at the moment, besides it's going down.
Make sure you have your risk controls in place and know it could do anything.
LULU has been this oversold 3 other times in the last 2 years. None of those worked out. A person could try bottom fishing but it didn't work out in the past. It will someday but how much money are you going to throw away first.
The chart is getting worse and worse. All you need is that little bit of stuff I put on the end of the chart. Or just draw an arrow on the chart pointing down. That's it, it's that simple.
