Hi all,
I started running last November, and have run 30k so far. Currently, i have been running in my Skechers, which have served me well for all the walking and running but i know i need proper running shoes now.
About me: Male, 74 kg, about 5’9”. I have recently had a gait analysis done and it said that my feets do not pronate or anything, and they are “normal” in that regards, i am a heel striker though and i could do with extra cushion for long term legs/knee health. That seems true to me as well because over the past few months, i have ran 5Ks in the new ASICS Gel Nimbus 28s and Salomon Aero Glide 4 GRVL during their launch runs with different run clubs. I personally really loved the Salomons with their cushion etc and the run felt super comfy and very much effortless! I didnt like the ASICS though, they felt a bit “off” for my feet, not sure why.
Sooo… any suggestions for the shoes? I might run whatever half marathon i can this year, and will be running atleast a couple of marathons next year with some Ultra training down the distant future. Any advice is welcome!
