Florida Health Insurance Agent

Hello all I just passed my state test and will be getting my license soon. Currently I'm on a Skillbridge (military transition program) interning with an independent agent who primarily does medicare. She is advising me to go W2 as i'd like to get a house later this year or early next year. I'm not necessarily second guessing the career choice but I'm just unsure of how my work life would be. My manager told me that I'd most likely start out making 50k-60k plus commission working for a company and that the job would likely be remote. Is this a realistic expectation or what and how does work usually go am I just telemarketing and selling health insurance or how does it all work? I'm very new to the industry and if anyone can give me some advice that works here in Florida or elsewhere I would greatly appreciate it

Im taking the fl state health exam this Thursday. I just finished the examfx course for it and got consistent 90s on the practice test but got a 74 on the certificate exam and readiness exam. Anyone willing to give advice for the actual test? Should I just keep spamming the practice tests? I feel like I get the material well just wording confuses me. Also does anyone work in florida here? Would love to ask you some questions about the career if you dont mind
