Title. Reddit is an American social media platform, while it has a large group of foreign users the large majority are American and naturally most topics revolve around America. Most commenters are also going to relate to their experiences as Americans. The same would happen on any other social media site based in whatever country.

The same also goes for those actively rooting for the downfall of the US. The USA is not and I repeat not above criticism, but to hope that it collapses and its citizens live in squalor while giving an American company your data and ad revenue is contradictory at best and ignorant at worst. Keep it civil.
