I recently moved into a ground floor apartment with a small terrace, where, if you were to sit outside, other residents would walk right next to you on their way to the car or the front door.
Now, since the football world cup starts soon, I had the idea to set up garden chairs and table so I could watch the games outside when it's warm and maybe catch some people and ask them if they want to watch the games outside with me.
question: Is that like weird at all? I'm not really betting on people accepting the offer, but do you think it might just be awkward for the people essentially just walking by, going home to get asked that?
question: Since you don't reliably get "socially recognised" events often on TV, what do you think would be some other media that could catch the interest of people walking by to maybe spark up a conversation or even sit and watch together for a few minutes?
