My LO is almost 16m and still likes me to hold him while going to sleep. I’m trying to adjust him to going to bed without me but he just refuses to nap and wails until I come get him. I feel awful when he cries so much and I feel like I’m teaching him that I’m abandoning him. I’ve tried Ferber method but he just stands up and cries for me to hold him.

I’ve resorted back to holding him for 10-15 min before putting him down but now he will only nap for maaaaaybe 20 minutes before he wakes up and starts crying for me again. I’m just a little bit exhausted from this and I need some advice!! Please give me all the tips and tricks to help my LO nap!!

(He sleeps well at night with no wakings but still wants me to hold him for bedtime too)
