Hi. I have my bachelors in social work, quit my job back in January, and have been applying pretty much nonstop since. I have a lot of social work experience but have absolutely zero experience in any other work area. In all honesty, I’ve been applying to right out of high school jobs (I’m 28) because I feel I need to go back to learn more basic job skills before I can do social work again. So my questions are:
do you guys have any ideas on what type of places to apply and how to get a job there? I wouldn’t mind retail…
should I just leave my social work off my resume? And not talk about it at all? I’m wondering if that’s where I’m losing people in the hiring process.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
