Hello! Have a new friend in my kitchen in the California bay area. Wondering if jumping spider?

Apologies for poor quality photo, spider seemed agitated by my attempts and was rearing up as if to jump/strike.

Just making sure it is indeed cute friend and not something I need to worry about with cats.
