Kicking around the idea of making a trip (driving) this upcoming week. I’m unsure of where I’m going to get the best bang for my buck on conditions/openings right now.
Starting point is SLC. I was originally thinking Tahoe, I have ikon base pass. But after this recent Colorado storm, I’m not sure if I’d be better off heading east? I don’t mind buying lift tickets if it’s gonna be worth it to deviate from the ikon pass.
I would like to keep lodging cheap - I don’t mind sleeping in my truck, but I feel like that’s not really an option at either spot (past research)?
I’d likely leave Sunday night to get there Monday morning and ride for two days or so.
Not the biggest park rat, so that’s not super important. Just looking for advice on the best bang for my buck.
