I am completely new to locking trems but I have been playing guitar since like ‘94 and until recently, I was never interested in anything but a hardtail bridge. I think it’s time for me to open the “wiggle stick” door to my guitar playing and have some fun. I usually just love a good super strat 6or 7 string with a hip shot bridge. I have been reading that the best Floyd Roses are on really expensive models or older used ESP LTD, whatever else, etc. I don’t know for sure. I want the good quality metal parts I guess is what I’m saying. Which versions of today’s FRs are most PROBLEMATIC? Which ones do you find are the most durable, long lasting/most acclaimed bridges.
