North Central Massachusetts, zone 6b I believe. I core aerated, top dressed, and over-seeded late last September into early October. The was some growth but it did not take the way I hoped. The grass is already starting to grow again this spring. Should I put my pre emergent (lesco dimension) down now or wait a few weeks? My instinct tells me the idea of any hold over “dormant” seed growing is not worth the risk of crab grass.
