for example, how do you mark that you have Carpentry 1,2 & 4 and only need to grab 3 & 5. Or that you have exposure survival VHS 3 and 7 but not the rest?

I find myself writing down each skill on a piece of paper (IRL, on my desk) and then scratching off the books as I find them. For magazines I just read them whenever I find them so the UI will give me the check mark but I have not found a better method for the books or VHS or other odd collectibles like dice or the stuffed animals
