A simple rule I’m trying to follow: If it won’t matter in 5 years, I don’t stress over it

I’ve started asking myself this question whenever something stresses me out:

“Will this matter in 5 years?”

Surprisingly, most things don’t.

It’s helping me stay calmer and focus on bigger priorities.

Do you have any mental rules like this?

I’ve noticed that cities like Pune don’t get hyped as much as Mumbai, Delhi, or Bangalore.

But when people actually spend time there, they often talk about better balance—less chaos, decent opportunities, relatively better lifestyle.

Is it just perception, or are Tier 2/1.5 cities actually more practical for long-term living in India?
