Where do I find tea in Islamabad?
Just an aam shehri here looking for some tea. What's the tea around Islamabad? Give me all the tea.
No workplace tea please because I probably won't be able to relate then.

This 8 pm lockdown is barely effective in Islamabad, let alone Pakistan.
In fact, I'm noticing even more cars on the road now, or those parked in front of shops, while the shops themselves pretend to be closed, but they're still serving people under shutters after 8 pm too.
Wasn't the whole point of the lockdown saving fuel and energy? It's anything but that, at the moment.
They're much better off revoking it, and maybe having the same cutoff time for everything. Perhaps something like 11 pm closure for all services excluding pharmacies and utilities.
And not to mention, the business and revenue loss so many businesses owners and vendors have to face because of this lockdown.
I hope the government reconsiders this decision sooner or later.
So I have this friend in Islamabad who literally lives 5 minutes away from me, deleted all of his socials except for Snapchat because he doesn't want his streaks to end. Fair enough.
But apart from that, he'd be super antisocial, and is very hard to get hold of. Never responds to direct messages, let alone calls or so.
Today I had the wildest idea of sending a streak, mentioning his name directly and summoning him for chai.
Somehow it worked? Eid ka chand agrees for chai out of absolutely nowhere.
Moral of the day: if you're looking to get hold of antisocial people, bait them on Snapchat.
I've been tracking a whole lot of donation drives in my circle recently, and while some of them appear to be transparent about their donation efforts, I'm also seeing an equal amount of cases of donation collectors disappearing or ghosting once a certain amount was collected, or exceeded.
This goes without saying; if you are coming across such donation requests in your circle too, and the only thing they've mentioned are bank details, or a random Easypaisa/Jazzcash number, stop and verify the following details first:
Apart from the donation scam instances mentioned above, another very common donation scam are fake profiles. You'll be contacted via Facebook or WhatsApp by a known relative/friend. The scammer will send you a picture as proof of the concerned relative/friend, and then after some time, will proceed to either beg or create an instance for you to lend a huge amount of money from them.
The last instance is a fairly easy scam to spot. But there are people falling for it, thinking their known contact got a new number, or made a new account on social media.
To sum up, please stay vigilant of scams in the current day and age, and don't give them any benefit of doubt by verifying all details accurately.
Aam shehri signing out.
Is it just me, or have their cookies gotten sweeter in recent times? I couldn't even finish one cookie before putting it aside for mithaas.
