2014 Si Locked Radio Solution
I have a 2014 si. My battery got drained and the headunit asked me for a code.
Usually Id press the power button for a few seconds and it would go away. Not this time.
The web/honda sites state your code is on the sticker in the glove box or a card that came with the owners manual. I didnt have either.
If you dont have those, honda sites say to press 1 and 6 radio presets to get the code....these headunits dont have those buttons... even the 3 dealers told me to do that "but i dont have those buttons"
I found a video on youtube and bang theres your solution.
1.press home, power, and eject simultaneously for a few seconds.
2.choose second option "Detail info"
3.choose "unit check"
4.choose "DA check"
Voila , theres your radio serial number.
Call a dealer, give them that serial number , and theyll give you youre code to unlock your radio.
Dont forget to note it down!
