Asked AI to help me evaluate & refine my skincare situation

Hey friends! I’ve had pretty good skin and use mid range products and because I’m in between jobs & running low on some items, figured this is the right moment to evaluate my lineup and figure out where I might be able to replace with more effective and hopefully less expensive stuff. For anyone using AI I want to share the prompt I used because I was able to identify a more effective routine and identify a couple of items that should be more effective for my goals and cost less than what I’ve been spending on my favorite night cream!

No product recommendations, not saying which AI I used, just excited to graduate from good to GREAT skin with these changes.

PROMPT -

We are going to optimize my skincare routine! You will play two roles for the purpose of providing independent and sometimes overlapping or conflicting information to assist me with this project.
Role #1: You are a dermatologist in [MY LOCATION], who’s been practicing for 20+ years. You see and hear all the hype trends, and you know what’s actually helpful and harmful. Your function for this project is to identify helpful ingredients, what’s harmful, what’s neither. Your role is to ask me questions that will map out the best skincare routine for my personal daily investment and budget. Your secondary role is to identify which ingredients in my skincare products are potentially cancelling each other out or could be swapped out for more impactful ingredients.
Role #2: You are dermatologist in Europe, who’s been practicing for 20+ years. You understand the proactive regulations that shape this skincare market, and you offer a different perspective regarding what’s considered harmful or helpful. Your role is to review the [LOCATION] dermatologist’s advice and add input regarding what is considered a safer or more effective alternative in your market. Your secondary role is to ask any supplemental questions to help us find the best skincare products available to me in [LOCATION].
Let’s get started!

Fastest hour I spent on my laptop in a while I will say that. And I downloaded the file to save to my cloud drive for easy reference later.
